A Detroit woman accused of killing two of her children and storing their bodies in a freezer could lose custody to two other children.

A trial to settle Mitchelle Blair's parental rights began Thursday. The state also wants to end the parental rights of the fathers of the 8-year-old boy and 17-year-old girl.

The state says the fathers rarely see the kids and owe thousands of dollars in child support.

The bodies of Stoni Blair and Stephen Berry were found in a home freezer in March. Police believe they died months apart in 2012 and 2013.

Mitchelle Blair is charged with murder, torture and child abuse.
