Authorities say a Florida deputy shot and wounded a man who tried to back into another deputy during a traffic stop.
The Sun Sentinel (http://goo.gl/1qIBEW ) reports that the shooting occurred Monday.
Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel says an alert from a deputy's license plate reader prompted the traffic stop. When the deputy got out of his cruiser, Israel says the vehicle's driver tried to back into the deputy.
