A Boston man charged with striking four city police officers with his car has pleaded not guilty.
Vincent Weaks, of the city's Roxbury neighborhood, was arraigned Friday on charges including four counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. He was held on $75,000 bail in that case and had his bail revoked in a prior case.
Police say two officers investigating a report of a man with a gun attempted to speak with the driver of a vehicle early Wednesday when he sped away, dragging the officers about 20 feet. Two other officers were struck by the fleeing vehicle. All four were treated and released from the hospital.

Weaks' attorney says his client was at home at the time the officers were struck.
