Police are looking for two suspects who donned white hazmat-type suits, gloves and what appeared to be night-vision goggles before making off with more than $100,000 in merchandise from a New York City jewelry store.

Authorities say the bandits busted through the back door of a vacant business next door to Fortune Jewelers in Staten Island before smashing through a wall and gaining access to the store around 4 a.m. Sunday.

Investigators say display cases were looted and a cash register was emptied. Police say gold rosary beads, cross pendants and charm bracelets were among the items that the thieves made off with.

The store's surveillance cameras captured images of the suspects dressed in what look like the type of protective clothing used by hazardous materials crews.

No arrests have been made.
