Authorities have arrest warrant in attempted abduction case

Authorities have a warrant for the arrest of a man they say tried to abduct a child from the National Air and Space Museum in Washington.

U.S. Park Police said in a statement Wednesday that they have an arrest warrant for 60-year-old Bernard Drai, who also goes by the last name of Derei. He is wanted in connection with the March 3 incident.

Park Police Sgt. Anna Rose says Drai was seen approaching a group of children, grabbing a child's hand and starting to walk away before a chaperone yelled at him and he fled.

Rose says Drai, who is known to frequently travel to the United States and Canada from Israel, has left the country. Authorities are still pursuing leads on another person seen with Drai at the museum.
