America's 10 Most Wanted Fugitives
This past year, the FBI added Fidel Urbina to its Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list, which was depleted last year with the captures of two Top Tenners. Most recently, Edwin Ernesto Rivera Gracias surrendered to authorities in El Salvador in March 2013 and Nicaraguan police reportedly detained child-porn suspect Eric Justin Toth the following month. Since its creation in 1950, the Top Ten list has helped the FBI capture some of the nation's most dangerous criminals. Of the 498 fugitives named to the list, 467 have been apprehended or located. The two fugitives captured in the last year were Usama Bin Laden, who was killed during capture, and James J. Bulger, who surrendered before being caught. A third Top Tenner, Christopher Adam Mayes, killed himself during the capture.
- Fidel Urbina is wanted for allegedly beating and raping a woman in March of 1998. While out on bond, he also allegedly beat, raped and strangled a second woman to death in October of 1998. Her body was later found in the trunk of a vehicle that had been burned. Both crimes occurred in Chicago, Illinois. Urbina may be residing in Durango, Mexico. - Edwin Ernesto Rivera Gracias is wanted for the murder of a long-time family acquaintance of his girlfriend. The 69-year-old victim was found brutally beaten, stabbed, and dumped in the mountains of Jefferson County, Colo. The crime took place on August 17, 2011. Rivera Gracias is believed to be in El Salvador, and may have a Salvadoran identification that says Edwin Rivera. He may also attempt to travel to the United States using fraudulent documents. He is a member of the La Mara Salvatrucha gang (MS-13). Rivera Gracias has ties to other gang members who are located in Colorado; Los Angeles, Calif.; and El Salvador. - Eric Justin Toth, a former private-school teacher, is wanted for allegedly possessing child pornography in Washington, DC. It is alleged that in June of 2008, pornographic images were found on a school camera that had been in Toth's possession. Toth also allegedly produced child pornography in Maryland. Toth has often been described as a computer "expert" and has demonstrated above-average knowledge regarding computers, the use of the Internet, and security awareness. Toth has the ability to integrate into various socio-economic classes, and is an expert at social engineering. He possesses an educational background conducive to gaining employment in fields having a connection to children. Toth may advertise online as a tutor or male nanny. Toth attended Cornell University for a year and transferred to Purdue University, where he graduated with a degree in education. Since June of 2008, Toth is believed to have traveled to Virginia, Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin and Minnesota. Toth is believed to have lived in Arizona in 2009. Aliases: Eric J. - Jason Derek Brown is wanted for murder and armed robbery in Phoenix, Ariz. During November 2004, Brown allegedly shot and killed a guard outside a movie theater and then fled with the money. Brown speaks fluent French and has a master's degree in international business. He is an avid golfer, snowboarder, skier and dirt biker. Brown enjoys being the center of attention and has been known to frequent nightclubs where he enjoys showing off his high-priced vehicles, boats and other toys. Aliases: Jason D. - Glen Stewart Godwin is being sought for his 1987 escape from Folsom State Prison in California, where he was serving a lengthy sentence for murder. Later in 1987, Godwin was arrested for drug trafficking in Puerta Vallarta, Mexico. After being convicted, he was sent to a prison in Guadalajara. - Robert William Fisher is wanted for allegedly killing his wife and two young children and then blowing up the house in which they all lived in Scottsdale, Ariz., in April 2001. Fisher is physically fit and is an avid outdoorsman, hunter and fisherman. He has a noticeable gold crown on his upper left first bicuspid tooth. He may walk with an exaggerated erect posture and his chest pushed out due to a lower back injury. - Eduardo Ravelo was indicted in Texas in 2008 for his alleged involvement in racketeering activities, conspiracy to launder monetary instruments and conspiracy to possess heroin, cocaine and marijuana with the intent to distribute. Ravelo is known to be a captain within the Barrio Azteca criminal enterprise and allegedly is responsible for issuing orders to the Barrio Azteca members residing in Juarez, Mexico. Allegedly, Ravelo and the Barrio Azteca members act as "hitmen" for the Vicente Carrillo Fuentes Drug Trafficking Organization and are responsible for numerous murders. He may have had plastic surgery and altered his fingerprints.
