An upside-down American flag and the message "broken arrow" at American Legion Post 68 sends the message post members are also sending online: Distress, the Seattle Times reports.
The post's website says the organization has filed for bankruptcy and will be leaving the Sheridan Road building in Bremerton, Wash., that has been its home since 1942.
The post’s website lists a new phone number and this message: “This is to inform you that The American Legion Post 68 has filed for bankruptcy and will be vacating its building that has been the Post home since 1942. It is a sad situation that several not so honest Veteran Legionnaires and other Officers of recent administrations of the Post have taken the post into this situation. The present group of Officers have tried everything in their power to reverse the situation, however, the damage that was done was not reversible and we now are doing the only possible procedure left to us.”

John Correia Jr., post commander, expects the post to reorganize and re-emerge in about three months, according to the Seattle Times.
Correia told the newspaper he'll operate out of his apartment in the interim.
