Amber Alert issued for 3-year-old Delaware girl taken by father
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Police in Delaware have issued an Amber Alert for a 3-year-old girl who they say was kidnapped by her father after he assaulted her mother.
Police are looking for 43-year-old Michael Trotta and 3-year-old Elinor Trotta, saying they believe the girl "is in imminent danger."
New Castle County Police say the girl's mother called police Monday night to report that her ex-boyfriend had just come to her home, assaulted her, and took Elinor. Police believe Trotta may have fled with the girl to New Jersey or New York City.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}He's described as white, 5 feet 8 inches tall, 160 pounds, balding, and with a scruffy beard and mustache. Elinor is 60 pounds with brown shoulder-length hair and was last seeing wearing a purple puffy coat, pink pants and "Frozen" sneakers.
