A wayward, 7-foot alligator was captured Wednesday morning outside a Dallas, Texas, middle school, Fox4News.com reported.
The alligator was spotted on the grounds of Dallas ISD’s STEAM Middle School near Interstate 20 in southern Dallas County.
It was captured with relative ease.
“It’s a defense mechanism, especially when we put the noose on it,” Warden Jamie Sanchez said. “I think it would be pretty scary. Big alligator like that would scare anybody.”
