Authorities say a 1-year-old Pennsylvania boy has died six days after his mother threw him into a river before jumping from a bridge herself.
Lehigh County Coroner Scott Grim says Zymeir Perry died Saturday at a hospital.
Authorities say his 19-year-old mother, Johnesha Monae Perry, kissed the boy last Sunday before pushing him over the rail of the bridge in Allentown and into the Lehigh River before she herself jumped. Rescuers found the toddler about 700 yards downstream.

Perry was charged Monday with attempted homicide, endangering the welfare of a child and aggravated assault. She was arraigned from her hospital bed and didn't have an attorney.
District Attorney Jim Martin didn't immediately return a phone call from the Morning Call newspaper on whether the charges would be upgraded. Perry had been due in court Monday for a preliminary hearing.
