Authorities in Texas arrested a man they say stole a construction site forklift and led police on a slow-speed chase though Fort Worth, MyFoxdfw.com reported.
Police say Timothy Raines, 43, was drunk and shirtless during the pursuit.
A witness told the station that the forklift’s driver appeared shirtless and was driving erratically. At one point, the driver lifted and lowered the forks, the witness said.
“When we passed him, the guy was standing up chugging a beer and threw it at the cop car behind him,” Nathan Lowery told the station.
Police eventually identified the driver as Raines, who was later charged with theft, aggravated assault on a peace officer and driving while intoxicated, according to the station.
