2 Alabama biker gang members charged with murder
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Authorities say two members of a suburban Detroit-based motorcycle gang that has a chapter in Alabama are accused of killing a fellow member in the Rosinton community, northeast of Robertsdale.
Baldwin County sheriff's officials say 30-year-old Adam "Sandman" Mayton of Newbern and Fred Weiss of Northport are charged with murder in the death of 54-year-old Samuel Dixson of Milton, Fla.
The Press-Register reports Mayton and Weiss were taken into custody Wednesday night by the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's Office. It wasn't known Friday whether they have attorneys.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Authorities say Dixson's body was found around noon Wednesday in eastern Baldwin County after firefighters responded to a blaze that destroyed a mobile home.
Baldwin County Sheriff Huey "Hoss" Mack said investigators are still trying to determine a motive for the death.
