One of seven men accused of plotting to join the Islamic State group is expected to plead guilty in federal court in Minneapolis.

A docket entry Tuesday says 19-year-old Hanad Mustafe Musse is scheduled for a "change of plea" hearing Wednesday.

Musse faces charges that include conspiring to provide material support to a foreign terrorist organization. He also is accused of misusing federal financial aid to buy a plane ticket.

The U.S. Attorney's Office had no comment Tuesday. Messages left with Musse's attorney weren't immediately returned.

Prosecutors allege Musse and some of his co-defendants took a bus to New York City last November and tried to board flights overseas, with plans to go to Syria. They were part of a larger group that conspired to join the terrorist group.
