One person has been killed and three others injured in a medical helicopter crash at the Choctaw Nation Health Care Center hospital in Talihina near the LeFlore and Latimer County lines in southeastern Oklahoma.
Hospital spokeswoman Janet Sharp says one of the three people injured is in critical condition. She says the crash occurred as the helicopter was taking off from the hospital shortly before 7 p.m. Tuesday. Sharp said she did not know where the helicopter was headed nor which person on board was killed.
Latimer County sheriff's dispatcher Trenton Bell said the helicopter was an EagleMed helicopter.
