Authorities have made an arrest in a drive-by shooting that killed a 3-month-old infant and injured his parents as they were leaving a baby shower in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Police were scheduled to provide details at a noon news conference Monday.
Investigators think the family was targeted when someone shot at them as they were driving away from the party in East Palo Alto early Sunday.

East Palo Alto police Capt. Jeff Liu tells the San Jose Mercury News that the 22-year-old father was shot in the abdomen and drove three miles toward a hospital after the shootings. The mother was shot in the backside as she tried to shield the baby and a 3-year-old child who was also in the car. The 3-year-old was uninjured, but the infant died.
Police had announced a $25,000 reward for information on the two suspects thought to be involved.
