Weird and wacky themed cruises

Fan of the horror flick "Saw" will set sail this August on the first official movie cruise.For five glorious nights in August, the Carnival Glory will travel from New York to <a href="http://www.bocaratontravelgroups.com/images/SawatSea.pdf">"the most beautiful points in Canada,"</a> including Saint John, New Brunswick and Halifax, Nova Scotia. This June, a week-long vampire convention will be held on a cruise to Southeast Alaska. Passengers can participate in late night parties, sip “vampalicious” drinks, perform in the Vamps Got Talent Show and meet and Bram Stoker's great-grandnephew Dacre Stoker. Cool.<br>   (Vamps at Sea)

Klingons unite on this <a target="_blank" href="http://www.startrekcruise.com/">Star Trek-themed cruise</a> departing from Miami to the Caribbean on the Norwegian Epic where its website says passengers can get "a more personal experience than any convention."  Celebs from Star Trek series and movies will be on board to sign autographs, have dinner and moderate as fans watch old re-runs. Talk about running in the right circles.  Passengers aboard the <a target="_blank" href="http://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/2012/02/07/royal-caribbean-announces-second-royal-5k-race">Royal Caribbean’s Allure of the Seas </a>will run -- both onboard and in port –and at sunrise and sunset, during  midnight scavenger hunt runs and along the beach.  Somewhere they’ll hopefully sit down.  Hosted in conjunction with ESPN, the seven-night Eastern Caribbean cruise on departs Dec. 1 from Fort Lauderdale.  The cruise also has training talks and seminars with athletes onboard, cooking demos and stretching and calisthenics seminars.
