Brick lovers rejoice!
The world’s largest tower constructed with Lego bricks has been built in Hungary.
The record-breaking 114-foot-tall tower stands in front of Saint Stephen's Basilica in Budapest and was made by school children who got a helping hand from official Danish Lego constructors.
The tower broke the previous record, which was set in Delaware, of a 113-foot tower that also made by school children.
The Budapest tower was made with 450,000 colorful bricks, features a profile of Pac-Man on the side and was topped by a Rubik's cube, a Hungarian invention.
The Guinness Book of World Records calls the building, "the tallest structure built with interlocking plastic bricks."
Budapest’s mayor told a gathering, he hoped the attention provided to the record will educate people about his nation and promote tourism.
