Ferrari has announced that it’s planning to open its first-ever hotel in a new theme park right outside Barcelona.

The new 250-room hotel complex will feature a large outdoor pool, fine dining restaurants, shops and a driving simulator, the company said in a press release.

It will be located at Ferrari Land theme park, set to open in 2016 in Spain.

The hotel is shaped similar to the grille of one of the automaker’s cars and is painted a "Ferrari red," according to renderings.

In May, the luxury car firm Ferrari has announced plans to open its first European theme park at the PortAventura resort near Barcelona.

The Italian sports car maker, which already owns the world's largest indoor theme park and boasts the world’s fastest rollercoaster in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, plans to open the Spanish Ferrari Land theme park in 2016.

Ferrari Land will include attractions for "visitors of all ages," including Europe’s "highest and fastest" vertical roller coaster.
