Ever want to know what it looks like at the top of the world? Now you can catch a stomach-lurching glimpse.
The city of Dubai has released an interactive panorama of the view from the top of the Burj Khalifa in honor of the second Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Photography Award (HIPA), which takes place in Dubai this March.
The Burj--made famous when Tom Cruise swung from it in "Mission Impossible 4"--is the world's tallest building at 2,722 feet above the city.
The panorama was created from 70 images shot by Dubai-based photographer Gerald Donovan. Visitors normally can reach the 124th floor observation deck in elevators that travel at 32 feet per second, but Donovan climbs higher on steep ladder from 160th floor to the top of the 656-foot spire at the top of the building.
