This is a rush transcript from "Watters' World," June 30, 2018. This copy may not be in its final form and may be updated.
JESSE WATTERS, HOST: Welcome to "Watters' World." I'm Jesse Watters.
The uncivil left, that is the subject of tonight's "Watters' Words." As many of you know by now, White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders and her family were refused service at the Red Hen in Virginia. The owner and others not kicked them out, but followed them to the neighboring restaurant and confronted them. The reason, Sarah Sanders works for Donald Trump.
While most Americans reject this type of behavior, Congresswoman Maxine Waters encouraged it.
(VIDEO CLIP STARTS)
REP. MAXINE WATERS, D-CALIF.: Let's make sure we show up wherever we have to show up. And if you see anybody from that Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd and you push back on them, and you tell them they are not welcome.
(VIDEO CLIP ENDS)
WATTERS: This episode has split the Democratic Party in half. Establishment Democrats like Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi condemned Maxine Waters, but the hard left wants to get rough. They've been demonizing Donald Trump and his supporters for two years.
(VIDEO CLIP STARTS)
DANNY DEUTSCH, ANCHOR, MSNBC: The voter, you, not Donald Trump standing at the border, like Nazis go, "You here, you here." And I think we now have to flip it and it's a given the evilness of Donald Trump.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: If you hold down the woman while the rapist is raping her, and you didn't rape her, are you a rapist?
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Tens of millions of people voted for him, after he showed his cards for years.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: But are you suggesting that they are racist or...
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: I think yes. Yes.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: The people who voted -- all the people who voted for Donald Trump are racists.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Yes.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: If Republicans weren't so racist, they could encourage black people who are morally conservative to be on their side.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Those people who are supporting what he's doing here are racists. Period.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: A movement and people that are speaking up for things is when they were talking about Civil Rights Movement and whatever else, those movements should be nonviolent, but they should not be non- confrontational.
(VIDEO CLIP ENDS)
WATTERS: They are essentially saying that if you support Donald Trump, you are an evil racist. In their minds, this justifies their uncivil behavior. The left-wing incivility has been around before Donald Trump and around for a while.
(VIDEO CLIP STARTS)
(CROSSTALK)
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: What do you want?
CROWD: Dead cops.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: When do want it?
CROWD: Now.
(VIDEO CLIP ENDS)
WATTERS: Even Fox News Channel has felt the heat.
(VIDEO CLIP STARTS)
CROWD: Fox news. Fox news!
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: You don't even know what I do.
(CROSSTALK)
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I was getting a business from a teacher yesterday, there it goes, she wants to shut down the communication. A teacher was giving me the business yesterday and the teacher told me she hates me because it make her feel good.
(VIDEO CLIP ENDS)
WATTERS: The bottom line is everyone should be treated with respect in this country. Fox News should be, CNN, if you like Trump, if you like Hillary -- we are all Americans, and if you want to change the country, just vote.
Here to respond is Quentin James, Founder and Executive Director of The Collective PAC who supports Sarah Sanders being driven out of restaurants and other type of street action. Quentin, you think it's okay what happened to Sarah Sanders at the restaurant?
QUENTIN JAMES, FOUNDER AND EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, THE COLLECTIVE PAC: Jesse, thanks for having me on, but I'm not here to defend the outrageous, but simply to say we have the ability to free speech. That's one of our most of sacred constitutional rights. And as a business owner, that restaurant owner had every right to refuse service to someone who she disagrees with on some...
WATTERS: That's true, I mean, she has a right to do it, the restaurant owner has the right. It doesn't mean it's the right thing to do. I think, you understand the difference. If you went into a restaurant and didn't like your political beliefs and they drove you out and chased you to the next restaurant across the street, how would you feel?
JAMES: Well, that's a great question. I think it's really important to understand I'm not a public official so I'm not making policies.
WATTERS: What if you were a public official?
JAMES: If I was a public official, that restaurant owner has every right to voice their concerns to me.
WATTERS: I understand that, but driving you out with your family there and then chasing you across the street, do you think that is civil?
JAMES: Now, look, I think when you are talking about families, we definitely have to be careful there and draw a line. I don't know if she refused service to the entire family or just Sarah Sanders at that time.
WATTERS: Well, I mean, Sarah is not going to like leave and leave her young kids in the restaurants by themselves.
JAMES: No, correct. I don't think she was just again, herself and her children. I think there were other family members there, but that's not the point here, right? We are in the midst of two incredibly difficult conversations. One around removing children from their parents at our border, and the second is around banning Muslims from entering our country. And again, I agree that all the hoopla this past week has been a lot, but I can't imagine going somewhere and asking for help and then having my children being taken away from me. So yes, I do think the heckling is unfathomable.
WATTERS: Well, I mean, let's just be fair, you can't blanket describe what's happening at the border as just innocent families crossing. I mean, one of the reasons people are separated is because there is child trafficking, there is child smuggling.
JAMES: Correct.
WATTERS: And that's the reason that those things have to be done down there at the border, and those things are legal. I mean, the child separation policy and having to release children now is because of the Clinton era settlement. It was upheld by the Ninth Circuit, and the travel ban, you call it a Muslim ban, it's a travel ban, that was upheld by the Supreme Court. So this is all in the legal realm, and Donald Trump and his policies aren't doing anything that's out of bounds and illegal and above the law, so I think he should be and his supporters treated with the respect and the dignity that all Americans deserve.
JAMES: This isn't about the Trump supporters. This isn't about private citizens. This isn't about people who make public policy. Sarah Sanders gets in front of the nation every week, and unfortunately, it has doubled down on over 3,000 lies that have come from President Trump since he's taken office. Listen, that's not opinion, that's facts.
WATTERS: She's a public servant.
JAMES: The question here is...
WATTERS: Quentin, she's a public servant. She has political beliefs that are different than yours and she is serving her country. Now, you may disagree with her policies, but that doesn't make her an evil person that deserves to be shunned and confronted...
JAMES: I haven't said she's evil.
WATTERS: But listen, you know, people in your party, Maxine Waters want people when they go to a gas station or a restaurant or a shopping mall -- she's surrounded...
JAMES: Look, because she's encouraging people to protest...
WATTERS: ... and intimidated.
JAMES: No, she's encouraging -- I won't use the intimidated, I won't use the word harassment.
WATTERS: Well, I think it's intimidating when you get a crowd of running around and chanting and getting in your face at a public place.
JAMES: But again, this is freedom of speech. This is an American value that I think we all agree with and uphold, right? I vividly remember in 2010, tea party supporters showing up to Congressional town hall meetings with loaded weapons, right, so the issue here isn't that...
(CROSSTALK)
WATTERS: Well, I mean, in certain states, you are allowed to carry, Quentin. You do, do that.
JAMES: No, my point, they are allowed to carry that. That's totally within their rights, so even though I didn't like it, right, or I'd agree with it...
(CROSSTALK)
WATTERS: I agree, we all agree -- we all agree that you are technically allowed to go up to someone on the street and yell nasty things in their face and surround their car. You know, I would call the police possibly if I am getting bashed or something like that and I work for Trump, say I work for Trump and I am getting gas and I have my family in the car -- hold on - - and all of a sudden, these radical protesters that don't like President Trump who I work for theoretically and they surround the car and they start chanting and they start intimidating me and my family. I'm going to call the police, and I think what you are doing by encouraging this type of behavior quasi legal is dangerous, and it's going to get out control and something bad is going to happen.
(CROSSTALK)
JAMES: I'm not calling for violence. I am calling -- we are saying that look, this is a political conversation, too, right, if Democrats want to win in November, we have got to see more folks getting excited about the political process. The political process, yes, it comes down to voting in November. but there is also volunteering, getting out and engaged in the community. They are protesting issues that you may not agree with.
WATTERS: I think that's good.
JAMES: That's all part of the process, now...
(CROSSTALK)
WATTERS: ... to vote, go fundraise and go give speeches.
JAMES: ... there should be respect, we should not do this around families, I am not encouraging that, right?
WATTERS: I agree, okay.
JAMES: However, you see a Trump official at a restaurant, you have every right to say, "You know what? I don't agree with the separation policy at the border," or "I don't agree with what's going with the Muslim ban."
WATTERS: Let's slow down, let me ask you because this actually happened to Kirstjen Nielsen, the Department of Homeland Security Secretary -- at a restaurant with a family member, her husband and nasty people surrounded her table and started chanting violent vicious things while she's having her dinner. I think that's just...
JAMES: They weren't chanting violent vicious things, Jesse. Let's be fair. They were protesting, all right.
WATTERS: Okay, they were protesting, whatever you want to call it. If I was having that dinner, I would not feel persuaded by those people. I would dig in. I would feel unsafe and I would actually look down upon those people because I think that shows a lack of respect and civility. So, I don't think those tactics are going to work for the Democratic Party.
JAMES: And again, that's your opinion, and that's totally fine, but like, let's remember where this started. We have seen an escalation of protests because we are removing children from their parents at the border. I think you would agree that we have escalated the policy conversation around immigration. We're talking about the immigrants who are entering our country. We are escalating the conversations around immigration.
WATTERS: That is the policy that set off all this radical protest. I understand...
JAMES: I wouldn't say radical. I would say that...
WATTERS: Well, I do.
JAMES: ... it's escalated, right? We are seeing it in restaurants...
WATTERS: It's getting pretty rough.
JAMES: ... in movie theaters, but it's not anything we haven't seen before...
WATTERS: And the President...
JAMES: Look, it has been strictly peaceful...
(CROSSTALK)
WATTERS: ... through an executive order changed that policy because crying Chuck Schumer wouldn't get around the table and change it legally through Congress. But listen, I've got to run...
JAMES: Look, Jesse, if we want to see de-escalation in the protests, we should see a de-escalation in some of the policies that is coming from the White House. The President has the power to give authority...
(CROSSTALK)
WATTERS: The President is not going to be intimidated by people chasing his Press Secretary out of a restaurant.
JAMES: It's not intimidation, it's advocacy. It's not intimidation, it's protest -- and everyone in America has every right to do the same thing.
WATTERS: It's going to backfire. You're right and you have a right to be rude. Quentin, I've got to run.
JAMES: I don't mean to be rude, Jesse. Not a problem. Thank you for having me.
WATTERS: Thank you. Joining me now is Fox News contributor Mark Thiessen with a slightly different take on the recent incivility on the left. Mark, what do you think about that?
MARK THIESSEN, CONTRIBUTOR, FOX NEWS: Yes, so, I mean, it's not just Sarah Sanders, it's the over the top reaction to everything that Donald Trump says in the media. It's the total obstruction of the Trump agenda in Congress, and so the Democratic Party has changed itself and the loyal opposition to the resistance, and the problem they have, Jesse is that what they're doing is they're alienating the very voters that they need to win in order to get back the Presidency and take back Congress.
So, if you look at the numbers, there are 700 counties in America that voted twice for Barack Obama and a third of those counties switched to Donald Trump in 2016 election, Priorities USA, Liberal Super PAC estimates that 7 million to 9 million Obama voters voted for Donald Trump instead in 2016. Number one, they are not racist.
WATTERS: So they all of a sudden became racists in the last year when they switched their vote, I mean...
THIESSEN: Yes, they voted twice for the first black President in American history, and now, all of a sudden, they are being dismissive racists.
WATTERS: I mean, it's a great point, and you know, you touched on something that I wanted to illustrate with some sound that everything they do, the sky is falling, the sky is falling, the tax cuts are going to kill people, pulling out of the climate deal, everyone is going to get sunburn. We are going to get nuked by North Korea. This is their reaction to Donald Trump potentially appointing a more conservative Supreme Court justice to the Supreme Court. Let's hear what they had to say.
(VIDEO CLIP STARTS)
DONNA EDWARDS, US REPRESENTATIVE, MARYLAND, DEMOCRAT: It's time for Democrats to throw down and what I mean by we have been playing by the rule book, and Donald Trump and Republicans have been play big street rules. We need to play by street roles.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Don't allow a vote that don't have a hearing, don't have a meeting, don't let anything go forward. Don't play ball with this decision.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Roe v. Wade is doomed. It is gone because Donald Trump won the election and because he's going to have the chance to appoint two Supreme Court justices.
WHOOPI GOLDBERG, AMERICAN ACTRESS: You don't want people to take your guns, get out of my behind, get out of my vagina.
(VIDEO CLIP ENDS)
WATTERS: Okay, I am going to let you take that one more...
THIESSEN: Thank you, appreciate that. I mean, look, here is the problem is that when you are the resistance, so there are these millions of Obama voters who voted for Donald Trump, they were the swing vote that gave him the election, right, so the Democrats have become a party of coastal elites that has completely lost touch with the middle of the country. So, if you're saying that you're the resistance, resistance to what? Resistance to them. Resistance to the values of middle America. Resistance to the people who elected Donald Trump. They see these...
(CROSSTALK)
WATTERS: And how are they going to resist the Supreme Court nomination? I mean, really they can't Parliamentary, they can't do anything about it. What are they going to like -- you know, refuse to serve the nominee at a restaurant? That's all they have. That's all they have.
THIESSEN: It's better than that because -- so, they not only are they not going to be able to stop them. This will make -- by the way, this is going to make the Bourke and Thomas hearings look like a Kumbaya session. I mean, they are going to throw everything they can.
WATTERS: They are going to go throw so much mud and slime at this...
(CROSSTALK)
THIESSEN: I feel sorry for the nominee. They're going to make it...
WATTERS: It is going to be the ugliest hearing I can think remember, but before that, I want to get your take on this Rosenstein hearing. There are some fireworks there. Trey Gowdy really lit into the Deputy Attorney General this week. Take a listen.
(VIDEO CLIP STARTS)
TREY GOWDY, US REPRESENTATIVE FOR SOUTH CAROLINA: We've seen the bias. We've seen the bias. We need to see the evidence. If you have evidence of wrongdoing by any member of the Trump campaign, present it to the damn grand jury. If you have evidence that this President acted inappropriately, present it to the American people. There is an old saying that justice delayed is justice denied. I think right now, all of us are being denied. Whatever you've got, finish it the hell up because this country is being torn apart.
(VIDEO CLIP ENDS)
WATTERS: Now, Rosenstein did not comport himself very well there. He reminds me of Eric Holder and it doesn't make any sense to me. Just hand over the documents, comply with the oversight committee. He's turning into a real villain in my opinion and I was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. What do you think?
THIESSEN: Well, I think that Gowdy is right that we need to get to the bottom of this and if there is evidence, they need to get it out there, and this is part of the problem that the Democrats are facing again with their resistance is that these voters that I was talking about who gave Trump the margin of error, they see this as an effort to invalidate their votes.
This whole fake Russia collusion thing -- and they are angry about it, and the politicizing of this, there is no evidence whatsoever that Donald Trump colluded. There is evidence that some people did some things with Russia that were inappropriate, they might have lied to investigators, and those things need to be addressed. But there is no evidence that Donald Trump colluded, and yet, they are trying to invalidate and stop the Trump presidency and so these voters are getting mad about it.
And they are going to get even matter now with the resistance going back to the Supreme Court, Jesse. You know, there are five -- this is the worst thing that could possibly happen to Democrats is to have this vote right now. There are five Democrats running for reelection in states that Trump won by double digits.
WATTERS: That's going to put them in a squeeze.
THIESSEN: They are going to get crucified. They are going to get crucified if they vote against Donald Trump.
WATTERS: I know and it's going to be the summer of rage and then, then this fall, it's going to be an absolute nightmare, but we'll be watching it here on Fox News, covering every minute of it. Mark, got to go. Thank you very much.
THIESSEN: Thanks for having me.
WATTERS:; Up next, Republicans drop the greatest political ad "Watters' World" has ever seen. Candace Owens and Dean Cain here to analyze, and later Tomi Lahren investigates the border wall.
Typically the Republican Party has fought with one hand behind its back. Not anymore. The RNC released one of the most epic political ads I've seen in my lifetime, it's called, "Unhinged." It will run in the midterms. Take a look.
(VIDEO CLIP STARTS)
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: A few years ago the ideas we talked about were thought to be fringe ideas, radical ideas, extremists ideas. Those ideas are now mainstream.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: I just don't even know why there aren't uprising all over the country.
WATERS: And if you see anybody from that Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, in a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd and you push back on them. and you tell them they are not welcome anymore anywhere.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Do something about your dad's immigration practices you feckless [bleep].
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: What untold time but for white women who disappoint other white women.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: One way you get rid of Trump is a crashing economy. So, please, bring on the recession.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: When was the last time an actor assassinated a President?
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: I have thought an awful lot about blowing up the White House.
(VIDEO CLIP ENDS)
WATTERS: Here with me now is the host of "Master of Illusion" Dean Cain and Candace Owen, Communications Director for Turning Point USA. Wow, Candace that is brutal and they didn't have to do anything. They just showed the left in its own words.
CANDACE OWENS, COMMUNICATIONS DIRECTOR, TURNING POINT USA: It's brutal. It is phenomenal. It should be considered a work of art.
WATTERS: Did you cut that ad?
OWENS: I did not cut that ad, but it should be considered a work of art and we should call it, mirror, because all they are doing, there are no words here other than their own words on the left, and I think that this is brilliant and they need to actually see how they have been behaving because they are not grasping it whatsoever.
WATTERS: This ad should run in every swing state across the country, Dean, and major air play because I think everybody needs to see it because you know what, like you said, it just holds a mirror up to the left's radical behavior and agenda.
DEAN CAIN, AMERICAN ACTOR: Here is the thing, you could probably cut seven more ads with the amount of stuff that they have said.
WATTERS: I know. What was on the cutting room floor? I mean, there's another like -- there's three or four.
CAIN: They're just bringing out the first piece. There probably are more -- there has to be more.
WATTERS: There are.
CAIN: There's been so many things. That doesn't look good for them. That was a very, very effective ad, no question.
WATTERS: And speaking of the midterms, we have I think Joe Crowley who was Nancy Pelosi's soon to be successor in New York, Democrat and he got upset big time. The President weighing in.
(VIDEO CLIP STARTS)
DONALD TRUMP, PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES: One of my biggest critics, a slovenly man named Joe Crowley got his ass kicked by a young woman who had a lot of energy. She had a lot of energy. I guess, he didn't see it.
(VIDEO CLIP ENDS)
WATTERS: And this woman he's talking about, this dragon slayer is an avowed socialist who came out of nowhere and took down the establishment. Here she is in her own word.
(VIDEO CLIP STARTS)
ALEXANDRIA OCASIO-CORTEZ, AMERICAN POLITICAL ACTIVIST, EDUCATOR, COMMUNITY ORGANIZER AND POLITICIAN: I would support impeachment. I think that we have the grounds to do it.
(VIDEO CLIP ENDS)
WATTERS: Not only does she support impeaching President Trump, here is her platform. You ready? Abolish ICE, raise taxes, free college, free housing, free healthcare, eliminate the IRA...
CAIN: Oh, the NRA.
WATTERS: NRA. Eliminate that, too.
CAIN: Well, I'm on the Board of Directors for the NRA, so I don't want that to happen, for sure.
WATTERS: She wants to get rid of you and your slovenly looks.
CAIN: Slovenly. Wow. What a platform.
WATTERS: What a platform, and I support this platform. I think the Democrats should run on the platform. Her name is Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez. I think the more of Alexandria, the better it is for Republicans.
OWENS: That is absolutely true. I support this 100% and the future looks optimistic for the Republican Party and look, she is actually the manifestation of all of the left's extreme rhetoric. I don't actually think the Democrats are this far left but this is what they have produced through their violent rhetoric.
WATTERS: They actually may have a little Alexandria deep down in all of them. I think deep down, there is a little Cortez in every single Democrat. They just try to hide that from the American people. I think the Democratic Party is going to try to kneecap her, Bernie Sanders style they way they rigged it against her because she is going to get so powerful and cause so much drama, she'll have to be taken care of.
CAIN: It's a split between the party. I mean, it's like a Civil War between the party and it is going to create all kinds of problems and it's not going to help them at the voting booth, at all.
WATTERS: There's a Civil War they say in the Republican Party, Candace, I see it on the left, I see a big time split between the people what want the street action, the street justice, the Maxine people, and Alexandria and then, you know, the people that understand you have to try to at least appear to be moderate to win elections if you're a Democrat.
OWENS: That's correct, and I actually see a lot of liberal refugees, people that no longer recognize the party that they were a part of, that would be me. Correct? That's how I ended up on this side. So, I think we're going to see a lot of people...
WATTERS: We'll give you asylum.
OWENS: ... we're going to see a lot of people moving over to Trumpland because he's starting to sound a lot more like what we want him to sounds like in the past -- very Presidential, what he is saying makes sense and look, on the other side, you've got crazy socialist...
(CROSSTALK)
WATTERS:; I know, well, when you're a stable genius like the President is...
CAIN: But look at his accomplishments. The accomplishments, you can't argue with. You can't argue with the unemployment numbers. You can't argue with the economic numbers. You can't argue with North Korea at the table. You just can't argue with that.
WATTERS: That's what is probably driving them so nutty, it's because he's winning and they can't handle it and so they are just going nuts because that's all they know how to do. They just know how to protest, firebomb, yell and scream because they can't legislate.
OWENS: No, that's exactly right. They incite violence at every single turn and as I said, I'm sitting quite comfortably right now. I am very happy to see what is going to happen next.
WATTERS: All right, well, we know what's happening out in your neck of the woods. You are now an officer.
CAIN: Yes, sir. Yes, sir, I am a reserve police officer with the St. Anthony's Police Department in Idaho, which is a very cool thing. We work to help kids, anti-bullying, anti-suicide, online predators, and things like that. It's a task force about kids. I go give talks to elementary kids who don't listen to me very much, but I have the officer badge on so they pay a little bit of attention, but you know, our police force has gotten a lot of flack over the last few years, and instead of vilifying them, I am doing the exact opposite. I am joining up and standing shoulder to shoulder with the police.
OWENS: Is a polished police on her list, too? Is that on her...
CAIN: Abolishing ICE...
(CROSSTALK)
WATTERS: She was getting rid of you.
CAIN: Next on the list.
OWENS: Next on her list.
WATTERS: All right, Candace and Dean, thank you, guys very much.
OWENS: Thank you.
CAIN: Thank you.
WATTERS: Up next, Tomi Lahren at the border. What she found out may surprise you. And later, in honor of 4th of July, how much do Americans know about our founding. Not much.
MARIANNE RAFFERTY, CORRESPONDENT, FOX NEWS: Live from "America's News Headquarters," I'm Marianne Rafferty. Thousands of people in cities across the nation taking to the streets today to protest the Trump administration's immigration policy. Here is the rally today at the US- Mexico border, demonstrators there expressing outrage over the separation of migrant families. President Trump has signed an order ending that policy, but many children remain in detention centers and apart from their families.
The former publisher of a Maryland newspaper where five people were killed, Thursday, says the suspected shooter first threatened the paper five years ago and that she took those threats very seriously. Patricia Richardson saying Jarrod Ramos held a grudge against "The Capital Gazette" after they published an article about him pleading guilty to harassing a woman. Ramos sued the publication over the article in 2012.
I'm Marianne Rafferty, now back to Watters' World.
(VIDEO CLIP STARTS)
TRUMP: Every day border agents are keeping drugs, crime and gangs from entering our country. We're going to get that wall built. We've already started it. $1.6 billion. We're getting the wall built.
CROWD: Build that wall. Build that wall. Build that wall.
(VIDEO CLIP ENDS)
WATTERS: That was President Trump on the border wall. He says new construction is under way. Tomi Lahren headed down to the Arizona border near Tucson and Nogales to investigate what's going.
(VIDEO CLIP STARTS)
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: See that gentleman walking there sitting under a tree, that's what we call a scout. So, what's he's doing is he's looking for Border Patrol agents. His job also is to watch the cameras and when he sees camera movement, if he did sense someone across the border, here's a good chance he's going to call them back because it's like, "They see you. Come on back. We'll try again later." If he doesn't see camera movement, he might send them.
TOMI LAHREN, POLITICAL COMMENTATOR, FOX NEWS: So, he's trying to send people over. You mentioned this is a tall fence obviously, not easily scalable. How would he send people over here.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: So some of the methods they try to use, they have had homemade ladders. They've had bailing wire that they'll hook on the fence or they have a shoe that might be wide enough where they can kind of shimmy up the top of it and slide down the back side of it, just kind of like sliding down a pole. All we have is this five-strand drop fence. And if we walk down, you can see, it's pretty flimsy. And we have vehicle barrier here to handle the vehicles, so obviously, the pedestrian issue is not addressed, but this is in case they try to drive through a vehicle. Usually, vehicles out here that drive through are full of drugs.
LAHREN: This area right now, this is a border protected by this barbed wire fencing and you know, wood. Would this area be suitable for fencing if you could afford fencing to here?
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: This area is suitable and wherever there is a vehicle barrier is a potential for them to drive through, which means, there's access on the north side, so the way the terrain is set up, it's viable to construct more fencing in this area.
(VIDEO CLIP ENDS)
WATTERS: Joining me now, Fox News contributor, Tomi Lahren. Tomi, nice job down there on the border. That looked like a pretty interesting experience for you. Was it tough getting down there for you? I mean, it must have taken a while. I went down there kind of in the same area in Arizona and it took hours.
LAHREN: Well, I have to extend a giant thank you to the Border Patrol in that area. They are so generous and so kind to us. They took us over the whole area. They showed us the different fencing that they have and the areas where they have no fencing at all. They really gave us a great tour and I learned a lot.
WATTERS: Can you believe that one fence that you were looking at, it's just a stick of wood with tiny little barbed wire. I mean, anybody can just whoop, and go right through.
LAHREN: Jesse, I'm from South Dakota and I come from a ranching family and we have fencing to keep cattle and horses in that's better than the fencing that we have on the border to protect our country. This was literally barbed wire and twigs. That's what we have protecting our border in some areas especially in Arizona. Not acceptable.
WATTERS: And how long did that little twig and barbed wire fence run for?
LAHREN: See, there are certain areas. It's funny because I saw about four different types of fencing there. Some of it was an actual wall that looked like it was probably sufficient and in other areas, it was just vehicle barriers like railroad tires that were just meant to stop vehicles, but clearly a human being could jump over them. So that just means that our agents have to be out there in scorching heat, patrolling that area, monitoring that area. They have to allocate a lot of resources to that.
If we had a wall, then they could focus on the areas where we aren't able to put a wall and our country will be a whole lot safer.
WATTERS: That's right. And you wouldn't have to separate families at the border because you know what? They wouldn't come across because there is a wall. And speaking of wall and the border, liberal Democrats want to abolish ICE. At this point, 20 Congressional Democratic candidates and other elected officials want to do away with ICE. Listen to this.
(VIDEO CLIP STARTS)
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: I think we need to abolish ICE that seems really clear.
CORTEZ: I'm actually one of the first candidates in the country to come out in favor of the abolishment of ICE.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: I think there is no question that we've got to critically reexamine ICE and we need to probably think about starting from scratch.
(VIDEO CLIP ENDS)
WATTERS: Oh, my god, I mean, I love it. Democrats, they don't want the border wall. They don't want zero tolerance. Now they don't want ICE. They should just admit they are for open borders at this point.
LAHREN: I'd give them more credit if they would do so, but I hope that Americans are listening to this because the Democrats are actually campaigning on an agenda that is anti-law enforcement and is anti-border security and border enforcement. That's what the Democrats want for the American people. They want us exposed to drugs, to crime, to illegal immigrants. That's what the Democrats want. Americans, wake up. Midterms are coming. This is what you need to vote for.
WATTERS: I mean, without borders, you can't even have the World Cup, Tomi. It's just, you know, all one country. No one wins. I've got to run, thank you very much.
LAHREN: Well, of course.
WATTERS: Still ahead, "Watters' World" quiz. Best of patriot edition. But first, Diamond and Silk pay a visit to Maxine Waters' office.
As we told you on the top of the show, Maxine Waters in hot water for inciting liberals to harass Trump supporters in the streets. In their new movie, "Dummycrats," the ladies, Diamond and Silk took to the streets and visited the Congresswoman's office in California.
(VIDEO CLIP STARTS)
DIAMOND, VIDEO BLOGGER: We are knocking on the door. Can you hear me? Is that Maxine?
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: I don't want to have to call the police.
(VIDEO CLIP ENDS)
WATTERS: Joining me now, Diamond and Silk. I don't want to give it away. Did you guys -- no don't even tell me if you ever caught up with the Congresswoman. But how was that down there? Where was that? In LA?
DIAMOND: That was in LA in her district, and you all are going to have to see the movie "Dummycrats" to find out what happened.
SILK, VIDEO BLOGGER: That's right.
WATTERS: Oh, quite a tease, I cannot wait to see that movie. Now, also we have Michael Moore showed up on, I guess, a late-night show and throwing his weight around a little bit, talking about resisting Donald Trump. Here is what he had to say.
(VIDEO CLIP STARTS)
MICHAEL MOORE, AMERICAN FILM MAKER: The despair that I have in going forward and making these movies is when are people going to get off the couch and when are we going to rise up? The only way that we are going to stop this is eventually we're all going to have to put our bodies on the line.
(VIDEO CLIP ENDS)
WATTERS: Putting their bodies on the line. That's the new tactic.
DIAMOND: But you know what, maybe he needs to get off the couch and maybe walk around a little bit or maybe go for a run.
SILK: That's right.
DIAMOND: Listen, you know, those little attacks that's had Michael Moore and the other ones are doing on the left, it's going to cause us to win- win-win. They are like the gift that keeps on giving to the Republicans. So keep acting out. Because people are walking off the Democratic plantation and they are switching their parties to Republican because they are tired of their foolishness and what they are pushing int his country.
SILK: That's right.
WATTERS: They are playing right into the President's hand and they don't even see it. And another guy showing up on a late night show, Jon Stewart, who we haven't heard from in a long time he had this to say.
(VIDEO CLIP STARTS)
JON STEWART, AMERICAN COMEDIAN: Donald, you could have absolutely made a more stringent border policy that would have made your point about enforcement but I guess it couldn't have felt right without a Dickensian level of villainy.
(VIDEO CLIP ENDS)
WATTERS: So, Donald Trump is a villain, he just wants to harm innocent bystanders. That's Jon Stewart, everybody.
DIAMOND: You know what I find sad is that, our President is really working for the American people to keep us safe. But you have the left, they want us to be unsafe. They want to work with illegal aliens. They don't want to follow the law, but they want to demonize a sitting President that is trying to protect the American people. I find that so sad, but the left is going to pay a dear price for doing that. You're going to pay a price for doing that.
WATTERS: I just can't even believe they want to abolish ICE, I mean, of all the things they've said, they take down drugs, hit men, they take out fugitive criminal alien people wanted for homicide, drug traffickers, child smugglers. They just want to get rid of them. They don't even care.
DIAMOND: That's just like saying get rid of the police. Look, we need ICE. We need this because there are illegal aliens crossing our border illegally. They are committing crimes and they are breaking the law. When an American citizen breaks the law, they are given three hots and a cot behind a locked cell block, period, and they are separated from their children.
SILK: That's right.
WATTERS: Well, when I am break the law, I'm going to do it in Idaho so Dean Cain can bail me out. All right, ladies, everybody watch "Dummycrats," and I guess, they're going to be chasing around Maxine down there in LA. Be careful though. Don't do anything disrespectful.
DIAMOND: We want answers now.
SILK: That's right.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Virginia. Correct?
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: No.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: No, I thought March was on taxes?
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: March.
WATTERS: In the fall.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: August?
WATTERS: August is the summer.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I'm going to get this one wrong. November?
WATTERS: You got it. The name our national anthem is.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Isn't it called "The National Anthem."
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: It is the "Star Spangled Banner."
WATTERS: Very good. Now, let's do a little rendition. Are you ready?
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Oh, dear...
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Oh can you see by the dawn's early light.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: What so proudly we held by the -- I forget the rest.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: O say does our star-spangled banner, over the land of the free and the home of the brave.
WATTERS: What are those called?
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Lamb parts.
WATTERS: Lamb parts...
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: God bless...
WATTERS: Not "God Bless America."
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: And the rockets -- the bumper sing and our gaze through to the light
WATTERS: Night.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Oh save -- the land of the free and the land of the brave.
WATTERS: Best one today.
(VIDEO CLIP ENDS)
WATTERS: Unbelievable. I think my two favorites are who did America declare independence from? Virginia and what year did we declare independence? 1984. Wow. That kid was in college. Anyway, up next "Last Call," and it's a good one.
Time now for "Last Call." On this holiday weekend, "Watters World" wants everybody to stay safe especially the boaters. We don't want you to end up like this. Oh, my god, that looks pretty bad.
