Grapevine: Hillary Clinton leaves a large carbon footprint Video

And now some fresh pickings from the Political Grapevine…

Caught in the Act

A charge of -- "do as I say -- not as I do".

Just hours after Hillary Clinton unveiled her climate change platform a Republican opposition research firm shot this video -- Hillary is seen boarding a private jet--the Daily Mail reports the French-made it burns 347 gallons of fuel per hour and was also made in France.

The 19-seater jet flew Clinton to New Hampshire from Iowa where she characterized climate change as one of the "most urgent threats of our time"

Twitter reacted quickly quote--"reducing your carbon footprint only applies to serfs not political royalty. #doublestandard"

And --"what else is new, people are such hypocrites especially the ones who preach about political behavior"

In response to the video--Clinton’s campaign announced it will now be off setting the campaign's carbon footprint. But as we saw earlier -- still not making a definitive statement on the keystone pipeline.

Whose House?

The Department of Housing and Urban Development is providing low income housing to over 25,000 families who earned too much--including at least one millionaire.

An audit cites -- a Nebraska man with a net worth of more than $1.5 million -- who has been making about twice the income limit since 2010. He pays a monthly rent of $300.

The report estimates --quote-- "HUD will pay as much as $104.4 million over the next year for public housing unites occupied by over income families that otherwise could have been used to house eligible low-income families in need."

Not-So-Empty-Nest

And finally--

Some Oklahoman tax payers are upset about a new resident at the governor's mansion.

Governor Mary Fallin's 28 year-old-daughter has pitched a trailer on the property.

After viewers expressed concern--  a local TV station determined the trailer is connected to the mansion -- meaning taxpayers are likely footing the utility bills.

Christina Fallin is in the clear though--while travel trailers are against Oklahoma city code --the mansion is exempt because the grounds are state property. That technicality doesn't make the people who complained any happier.
