When it comes to certain product categories, bigger really is better. This is especially true in the realm of storage. Kingston clearly is aware of this, as they've announced the DataTraveler Hyper X 3.0 1 TB USB 3.0 flash drive here at CES 2013, which is the world's largest USB 3.0 stick.

With respective read and write speeds of 240/160MBps, the DataTraveler Hyper X 3.0 features data transfer rates that are on par with some low to mid-range SSDs. Pricing details aren't currently available, but we expect them to be exorbitant at the very least.

The DataTraveleer Hyper X 3.0 will ship in two capacities; 512MB in addition to the 1TB drive. The former is available now, while the latter will begin shipping in this quarter.  In the meantime, stay tuned for further coverage of Kingston announcements and all things CES 2013.
