Apple CEO Tim Cook condemns 'senseless, unconscionable' Orlando shooting

Apple CEO Tim Cook condemned Sunday’s Orlando nightclub shooting as “senseless” and “unconscionable” during his keynote at Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) in San Francisco Monday.
“It was a senseless, unconscionable act of terrorism,” said Cook, during his opening remarks at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium. The Apple chief offered the company’s deepest sympathy to anyone affected by the horrific mass shooting.
“The Apple community is made up of people from around the world, from all different backgrounds and points of view,” said Cook, before asking the audience to rise for a moment of silence for the victims and their loved ones.

ISIS claimed responsibility for the attack Sunday afternoon via its Amaq news agency, according to Reuters.
