Vanessa Hudgens’ Privacy Violated By The Leakage Of More Scandalous Snaps
Did Vanessa Hudgens not learn her lesson the first time nude photos of her leaked? Or has she been set up?
In September 2007, the "High School Musical" starlet hit headlines when pictures of her posing naked hit the internet. Despite speculation that she would be dumped by Disney, Hudgens publicly apologized for the "embarrassing" photos and Disney responded that they hoped she had "learned a valuable lesson."
Well, perhaps not. On Wednesday, more racy shots of what appear to be the 20-year-old surfaced. It is unclear whether these are new, Photoshopped or from the same controversial shoot as 2007.
Reps for Hudgens and Walt Disney did not respond for comment.
Or maybe it's no surprise after all.
Hudgens is currently prepping to play a potty-mouthed hooker in her first "breakaway" Disney film entitled "Sucker Punch" and is busy doing the media rounds for her new family-friendly flick "Bandslam." So even though such controversy isn’t exactly ideal for the tween pin-up and girlfriend of Zac Efron, it may successfully propel her career in the "adult" stratosphere.
"Vanessa wants to raise her visibility and become an 'A' lister, so by posing Vanessa is shedding her Disney image and becoming a serious actress," Hollywood’s leading image consultant Michael Sands said. "Vanessa feels her career is being held back and she wants to be ‘en vogue’."
Nonetheless, a source close to Hudgens told Tarts that she refuses to discuss the ordeal and is humiliated by the expose.
The fresh slate of scandalous snaps (reportedly leaked from Hudgen’s BlackBerry) also raises the question of privacy and whether it is fair for her to have to take the heat for something that appears to have taken place in her own private place and time. So while fame sure does have its ups, it has plenty of downs too.
"It has become crazy, just the fact that we have people following us around. We're girls with 40-year-old guys chasing us [and] stalking us all day," Hudgens recently told Tarts. "It's really weird. But I feel like it's something that comes with the territory. Unfortunately there is not much you can do about it."

On the note of Disney darlings, Miley Cyrus is using her fame and fanbase for a good cause with her own charity auction on eBay to raise money for her Pappy Cyrus Family Foundation (named in honor of her granddad) whose programs support children’s causes all over the country.
Fans can bid to be a "Roadie for the day" on Miley’s new concert tour (with a backstage meet and greet!) or even bid for Miley’s favorite items from her own closet, including outfits she has worn on red carpets and hot Hollywood events.
Ashton Kutcher Gets Told Off By Film Studio
Ashton Kutcher is certainly no stranger to doing naughty things, but the "Punk’d" star was pretty surprised when he got into trouble at a Hollywood Studio on Monday for doing things that "normal" people are allowed to do.
"I got in trouble twice today man! I’ve got a camera and I post stuff on the internet that with my camera just like any other Joe posts on the internet with his camera," Kutcher told Tarts at Monday’s premiere of the new flick "Spread."
"I went on a studio lot today with a camera and they were like ‘you can't shoot here’ and I was like , ‘What are you talking about? I'm just shooting, there is a fan bus going right now shooting on the lot and they are shooting all kinds and they are going to post those on Facebook. I'm just doing the same thing they are doing!’ They don't think I am doing the same thing but I am doing the same thing."
