The Man in Black Hospitalized

Singer Johnny Cash is back in the hospital with bronchitis.

Cash, 69, was listed in stable condition, Baptist Hospital spokeswoman Melissa Cantrell said Wednesday night. He had been released from the hospital Oct. 22 after two weeks of treatment for bronchitis.

The singer of "A Boy Named Sue" and many other country hits suffers from autonomic neuropathy, a disease of the nervous system that makes him susceptible to pneumonia. He has been hospitalized with it four times since 1998.

Cash's other hits include "I Walk the Line" and "Sunday Morning Coming Down."
