Terrorism in India and How It Affects Us
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Once again, Muslim terrorists have slaughtered innocent people in pursuit of creating global chaos. This time 172 human beings were killed in Mumbai for no reason whatsoever.
This attack comes a few months after the Marriott Hotel was bombed in Islamabad, Pakistan. The death toll there was 53.
While these attacks were far away from us, they are vivid warnings that if the Muslim killers could, they would slaughter every single American citizen. But the far left does not see it that way. Listen to writer-philosopher Deepak Chopra:

Since 9/11, the U.S. government has kept the terrorists out of here by using a variety of tough techniques, most of which are opposed by the far left. Now with a newly elected liberal president, it will be interesting to see how the new government will handle the War on Terror.
Only one terrorist in India was captured. Nine were killed. Some may have escaped.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Trust me when I tell you the captured man is now undergoing rigorous interrogation. The kind Barack Obama has promised to outlaw. The kind the ACLU and The New York Times say belittles the United States in the eyes of the world.
"Talking Points" opposes torture, but not coerced interrogation methods like sleep deprivation and even water-boarding with presidential approval.
In my last interview with President Bush, I pushed him to define what interrogation methods should be used to keep us safe.

GEORGE W. BUSH, PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES: I don't want to talk about techniques, and — but I do assure the American people that we were within the law and we don't torture. We — I've said all along to the American people we won't torture, but we need to be on the position where we can interrogate these people.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}O'REILLY: But if the public doesn't know what torture is or is not as defined by the Bush administration, how can the public make a decision on whether your policy is right or wrong?
BUSH: Well, one thing is, is that you can rest assured we're not going to talk about the techniques we use in a public forum, no matter how hard you try, because I don't want the enemy to be able to adjust their tactics if we capture them on the battlefield.

{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Once again, I believe the president should have the power to order tough interrogation methods when lives are on the line.
Now back to India. There is no doubt that Al Qaeda and other terror killers are using Pakistan as a safe haven from which to launch attacks. In the days to come, the India killers will likely be traced back to Pakistan. India, of course, will be furious, and Stratfor.com believes that country may attack Pakistan, which continues to allow Al Qaeda, the Taliban and other Muslim killers, sanctuary.
Pakistan, Syria and Iran are the primary countries in the world that harbor terrorists. But the world will not unite against these countries and force them to stop the madness. That means that the USA and all other countries have to be constantly watchful of Muslim-based terror strikes. But far-left fanatics are making it very difficult for us to protect ourselves.

Pinheads & Patriots
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Country singer Aaron Tippin went over to Iraq to celebrate Thanksgiving with the troops. Mr. Tippin visited Ramadi and sang for our people on the front lines, so he is a patriot for doing that.
We continue to urge celebrities and entertainers to visit our troops overseas. Not enough of them are doing that. The USO remains the primary vehicle for getting that done.
On the pinhead front, New York Giant receiver Plaxico Burress apparently shot himself in the leg with an illegal gun. Burress is pleading not guilty, but he has been in constant trouble this season, and his career is in jeopardy.
