While it was widely rumored that Taylor Swift and Joe Jonas were dating this summer before calling it quits, Swift never actually confirmed she was dating the Jonas Brothers lead singer until today on Ryan Seacrest's radio program.
"It's been tough," she said on his KIIS-FM radio show. "You just have to try to realize someday you'll find someone that's right for you."

But Swift is putting her heartbreak to good use at least. Her new song "Forever and Always" was inspired by their short-lived romance.
"[It's] a song about watching somebody completely fade away in a relationship and wondering what you did wrong," Swift told People Magazine. The song appears on her album Fearless, being released Nov. 11.
But it's not all crocodile tears for the 18-year-old singer. Swift posted a vlog on her Myspace page in which she holds up a Joe Jonas doll and jokes, "See, this one even comes with a phone. So he can break up with other dolls."
