Study: H1N1 Not Changing Hand-Washing Habits
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}A new survey says many people haven't changed their hand washing habits in light of the H1N1 flu outbreak.
The survey was done by the Bradley Corporation of Menomonee Falls, a manufacturer of bathroom and locker room furnishings.
It found 54 percent of the respondents said they "wash their hands no more or less frequently" in public restrooms as a result of the virus. It also found that 87 percent of respondents wash their hands after using public bathrooms, but one percent of those only rinsed with water.

{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}The survey was conducted online July 28-31 and involved 1,020 American adults across the country aged 18 to 65.
The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says hand washing is critical in preventing illness.
