MURRAY, Ky. – Kentucky State Police say one person is dead after a small, experimental plane crashed in rural western Kentucky.
Trooper Dean Patterson, spokesman for State Police Post 1, says the victim has not yet been identified, but no one else was injured in the crash.
Patterson said the plane went down in a rural, wooded area about 3 p.m. CST.
Patterson described the plane as experimental, and said the Federal Aviation Administration will investigate the incident.
