Seattle Police Cars Scorched by Fire Intentionally Set

The Seattle Fire Department says the fire that burned several Seattle police vehicles was set.
Spokeswoman Helen Fitzpatrick says the fire was reported just before 5 a.m. Thursday at the city maintenance and storage yard. Fire damaged two police cars and one police van.
Firefighters quickly controlled the fire. There were no injuries.

Police are reportedly looking for a man who was seen in the area with a backpack. The city yard is near the interchange of Interstate 5 and I-90, at 714 S. Charles St.
