Report: Niger President Tandja's Party Wins Election

Niger President Mamadou Tandja's ruling party beat out the opposition to win a parliamentary election, Reuters reported.
Tandja's party brought in more than 50 percent of the votes, a senior party official said, according to Reuters.
Most of the opposition party boycotted the poll.
