Report: Jodie Foster Leaves Longtime Girlfriend Cydney Bernard for Screenwriter
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Actress Jodie Foster has split from longtime girlfriend Cydney Bernard, leaving her for screenwriter Cindy Mort, according to the U.K.'s Daily Mail and other press reports.
The 45-year-old "Silence of the Lambs" star had been with Bernard, 55, for almost 15 years. The couple had been raising Foster's two sons, 9-year-old Kit and 6-year-old Charles, together.
Foster reportedly met Mort, 41, while filming 2007's "The Brave One."

Mort was in a relationship with "thirtysomething" actress Melanie Mayron at the time.
