Medic 33: Alright for Medic 33, what is your emergency?
Attendant: Yes sir, I need to… I need an ambulance as soon as possible, sir.
Medic: OK sir, what is your address?
Attendant: Carolwood Dr. Los Angeles, CA, 90077.
Medic: Did you say Carolwood?
Attendant: Carolwood Drive, yes.

Medic: OK sir, what is the phone you are calling from? And sir, why don't you prompt me exactly what happened?
Attendant: Oh sir, what happened? We have uh a gentleman here that needs help and he’s not breathing yet, he’s not breathing and we need to, we're trying to pump him but he’s not... he's not breathing, sir.
Medic: OK, OK, how old is he?
Attendant: He’s uh 50 years old, sir.
Medic: 50, OK. He’s unconscious. He’s not breathing?
Attendant: Yes, he’s not breathing sir.
Medic: OK, and he’s not conscious either?
Attendant: No, he’s not conscious, sir.
(Background noise: How’s he doing?)
Medic: Is he on the floor? Where’s he at right now?
Attendant: He’s on the bed, sir. He’s on the bed.
Medic: OK let’s get him on the floor. OK? Let's get him down to the floor. I’m going to help you with CPR now, OK?
Attendant: We need a...
Medic: Yes, we're on our way there. I’m going to do as much as I can to help you over the phone. We're already on our way. Did anybody see him?
Attendant: Yes, we have a personal doctor with him, sir.
Medic: Oh, you have a doctor there?
Attendant: But he’s not responding to anything. No, he’s not responding to CPR or anything.
Medic: Oh, OK. Well we’re on our way there. If you guys are doing CPR and are instructed by a doctor, he’s a higher authority than me, and he’s there on scene. Um, did anybody witness what happened?
Attendant: Uh no, just the doctor, sir. The doctor is the only one here.
Medic: OK, so did the doctor see what happened?
Attendant: Uh, uh, doctor did you see what happened, sir?
(Background, Doctor: Uh, you need to tell them they need to come!)
Medic: Sir he just, um if you could just, if you please uh…
Attendant: We’re on our way. We’re on our way.
Medic: I’m just asking questions but the paramedics are on their way, sir.
Attendant: Thank you, sir. He’s pumping. He’s pumping his chest but he’s not responding to anything sir, please.
Medic: OK, OK, we’re on our way. We’re less than a mile away, and we’ll be there shortly.
Attendant: Thank you, sir.
