Pop Tarts: Shocked Stars Mourn Bernie Mac's Sudden Death

Tinseltown was a sad place on Saturday as Hollywood's "Original King of Comedy" Bernie Mac passed away.
At only 50 years young, Mac was known for his roles in hit films such as "Charlie's Angels" and "Ocean's Eleven," and with four projects currently in post-production, we are still yet to see Mac's full potential to make us laugh.
"I worked with him on 'Charlie's Angels' and he was someone I respected. He was such an amazing person, someone who came to work and was just so friendly to the cast and crew," Luke Wilson told Pop Tarts. "It's a great tragedy."

And for George Lopez, losing a fellow funnyman is like losing a brother.
"Bernie Mac was a true pioneer in the comedy industry. It's been a 30-year journey of making people laugh," Lopez said. "We're all brothers in the stand-up world, and there will never be another Bernie Mac. I'll miss him."
Meanwhile, "Heroes" star Greg Grunberg was at a loss for words when we caught up with him over the weekend.

"I’m actually kind of speechless. I want to say something and articulate exactly how talented I think he is and was and will continue to be forever," he said, adding that Mac will still live through DVDs and videos of his performances.
But even those who never had the privilege of working with the talented comedian are well aware of the legacy he will leave behind.
"It was a real shock because he was so young. I hated to hear that he had the illness. ... at that age you think about the family and you just pray for them and hope for the best," said "Desperate Housewives" star James Denton. "He was really talented and I’ve never worked with him, but I’ve never heard a bad thing about him, so I know he was very popular and so it’s very sad."

Semi-Topless Photos of Miss Universe Surface
Donald Trump sure knows how to pick 'em. In 2006, Miss USA Tara Conner was sent to rehab to overcome a drug and alcohol addiction. Now, semi-topless pics of Venezuelan beauty Miss Universe Dayana Mendoza are making the rounds.

But Mendoza's sash remains safe. Miss Universe Organization President Paula M. Shugart told "Access Hollywood" that the snaps are of an artistic nature and actually enhance her status as one of the most beautiful women in the world.
"We embrace and respect her success as a model and the artistic beauty captured in these photographs," Shugart said.
Samantha Ronson Jealous Over Lindsay Talking to a Guy?

Samantha Ronson celebrated her 31st birthday at Hollywood hotspot Crown Bar last Wednesday night and pretty much refused to leave rumored girlfriend Lindsay Lohan’s side.
Linds lit the candles for the celeb DJ, and the two were clearly comfortable in one another’s company as they laughed and chatted well into the wee hours.
But we’re starting to think that despite her meek exterior, Miss Ronson is really the more dominant half of the relationship. At one point, Linds reportedly escaped and was talking to a guy when Sam quickly hurried over, grabbed her arm and led her away.

Handbag Baby: Camila Alves & Matthew McConaughey Proudly Present Levi
Popular West Hollywood boutique Kitson was totally chaotic on Thursday night as new mama Camila Alves launched her new line of bags, Muxo.
But there was someone else the packs of paps and partygoers were more excited to see (and no, it wasn’t even the baby's daddy, Matthew McConaughey). It was their 1-month-old son, Levi.

Fellow designer Lauren Conrad was over at Bloomingdale's promoting her clothing collection to a slightly less chaotic crowd. It was just a few weeks ago that Kitson dumped L.C.’s line due to her refusal to make a promotional appearance — does the oh-so-classy “Hills” hottie think she’s too good for small stores these days?
Motorcross Tragedy: Carey Hart Loses Brother

This definitely hasn't been the best year for Motorcross champ Carey Hart, who split from wife Pink earlier this year.
His 21-year-old brother Anthony tragically died on Saturday due to head injuries after crashing on his motorcycle at Stafford Motor Speedway Connecticut during a practice run.
According to an eyewitness at Johnson Memorial Hospital, the scene was one of great despair as attempts to stabilize Anthony's condition failed. He reportedly died with his father Tom by his side.

The death comes as the first in the six-year history of the AMA Supermoto Championship.
