Ever wonder what happened to Tara Conner? It looks as though 2006’s troubled Miss USA has come a long way from her days of battling a drug/alcohol addiction to now teaching other young women how to act like ladies.

Pop Tarts has confirmed that Conner (who has kept a very low-profile for months now) has signed on to host MTV’s upcoming reality show, which has the working title of "LaDette to Lady."

The self-betterment show is set to start filming in London this fall, and Conner's role will be to transform a bunch of gals from problematic to prim and proper while exposing details of her own tough times.

But the reformed rehabber had a little help scoring the hot hosting gig — her BFF Donald Trump. The mogul (who co-owns the Miss Universe Organization) made headlines in December 2006 when he allowed Conner to keep her crown despite her dangerous habits and even brought her back to Trump Towers to star in last year’s reality television program "Pageant Place." Trump Productions is behind this new show.

"Trump and Tara have a very close relationship," an inside source told Tarts. "She still doesn’t drink at all and rarely ever even goes out."

But Tara’s attempt to enhance her public profile by attending a party for a "good cause" fizzled on Saturday. Although she was once declared the most beautiful woman in the USA, she was still refused entry into the "Declare Yourself" Red, White & Blue Summer Oasis Party in the Hollywood Hills.

We’re told the 22-year-old was turned away as the residence was at capacity — but she wasn’t alone. Apparently Cheryl Burke and Brittny Gastineau were also told to twirl right back around too.

Speaking of no-shows, Sharon Stone had organizers peeved when she failed to make an appearance as promised. The event organizers took the "Basic Instinct" actress out for dinner the night before, where she reportedly assured them she would be there to promote the important cause.

Instead, the party was populated by host Christina Milian, Stephanie Pratt of "The Hills" fame, Joey Lawrence and "Entourage" actor Rex Lee.

"Reformed" rehabber Samaire Armstrong was also spotted ordering several TeaTazz Sparkling Cocktails, although the bartenders kept there lips sealed as to whether an other adult substances were added...

Will Donald Trump Fire Joe Francis?

It looks like Donald Trump has also recruited someone even "wilder" than Tara Conner.

"Girls Gone Wild" founder Joe Francis is set to turn the table from being the one behind the lens encouraging college girls to bare their breasts to being the star of Trump’s reality show, "Celebrity Apprentice."

According to the New York Post's Page Six gossip column, Francis will join Khloe Kardashian, Dennis Rodman as well as Joan and Melissa Rivers in the episodes which will air next year.

Pitt Gets Snappy at Jolie

Not too many people associate Brad Pitt with being behind the camera, but the actor has made quite a remarkable debut into the world of still photography — snapping lover Angelina Jolie in France for the cover of an upcoming issue of W Magazine, according to People magazine.

The shoot took place just before the famous family flew off to Italy, where Angelina and Brad are scheduled to make a red carpet appearance at the premiere of the Venice Film Festival on Wednesday on behalf of their charity Not On Our Watch.

Double Date: Two Lohans and a Ronson

New York’s Bar Pitti restaurant was a little busier than usual on Monday night when Samantha Ronson, Lindsay Lohan and her mama, Dina, dined together at the Manhattan hot spot. Surprisingly, both Li-Lo and her gal Sam were actually snapped smiling!

But that isn’t the only pleasure Linds has derived from food lately. An on-set insider from "Ugly Betty" told Tarts that guest star Lohan has been enjoying the multi-takes of her food fighting scene and that she just seems "so happy" with life.

We've also been told that some cast and crew are kinda peeved with the phenomenal security procedures required on the days when Lindsay is filming.

"It’s ridiculous and annoying," a source said. "But given the amount of people who have tried to sneak in or get photos, it’s obviously necessary."
