Poll Trouble for Pelosi, Reid

A quick trip around Hannity's America...
Mr. & Mrs. Unpopular
For days we've been telling you about President Obama's tanking poll numbers. But don't worry, Mr. President, you are not alone.

New data released by George Washington University shows that Nancy Pelosi has also taken a major hit in her approval rating. Only 32 percent of those polled have a favorable opinion of the San Francisco speaker.
And if you thought it can't get worse than that, there's Harry Reid's numbers. The Nevada senator has a popularity rating of only 15 percent.
It sounds like the party is almost over for that Democratic majority.

Jumping Ship
Not only are liberals losing the support of the American people, but praise from the Obama-mania media also seems to be vanishing.
As Newsbusters.org noted Wednesday, even National Public Radio was forced to acknowledge the rough patch the president and his allies now find themselves in. NPR reluctantly reported that their latest survey found that a plurality of those polled opposed the Democrats' health care plan.

When the liberal listeners of NPR start jumping ship on President Obama, that spells trouble.
Team Green?
The Meltdown is brought to you by the White House's resident communist, green jobs "czar" Van Jones.

Jones, who boasts a criminal arrest record and who admits to at one time being a communist, recently sat down with Newsweek.com for an interview. When asked why the administration has spent $60 billion to create jobs, and yet not one has been created, Jones explained is because they're still trying to figure out what a green job actually is!
While you're working on that definition, can we please have our $60 billion back?

President Obama gave his word to the American people that both Houses of Congress would pass health care reform before August, and despite his failure to make good on his promise, the president is trying to use this situation as a fundraising opportunity.
Obama's political group Organizing for America sent out an e-mail Wednesday, asking, "Can you chip in one dollar each day until we pass real health insurance reform? A huge response will show the insurance companies and their allies in Congress that their delay tactics will only make our movement stronger."
As Rahm "Rahmbo dead fish" Emanuel says, you should never let a good crisis go to waste.

Obama's Fan Club
President Obama has been falling all over himself lately to praise the AARP after the group announced its support for his health care plan. But is that group really the nonpartisan entity that the president wants you to believe it is?
Definitely not.

Despite its denials, the AARP has a history of being politically active and even touts its pro-gun control position in its official policy book.
Don't be fooled, ladies and gentlemen.
