A heavyweight boxer has pleaded guilty to raping a 12-year-old girl in his Exeter Township home in January 2005, when he was 19.
Travis Kauffman, who is now 21, will face a mandatory five- to ten-year sentence.
Berks County Judge Thomas Parisi has scheduled sentencing for September, and ordered an evaluation to determine whether Kauffman is a violent sexual predator who must register with state police.

He also faces a hearing in August on charges that he sold marijuana to undercover officers in March 2004.
Kauffman has a 10-and-0 record with seven knockouts and was scheduled to appear in his first televised fight last Thursday in Rochester, New York. The fight was canceled.
Kauffman is free on 10-thousand dollars bail.
