Heartbroken Secret Santa
He was full of love, but had no one to share it with on the holidays. So he left all of his love in an unlocked car at the train station — in the form of a $15,000 three diamond gold engagement ring.
It had a note on it that said: "Merry Christmas. Thank you for leaving your car door unlocked. Instead of stealing your car I gave you a present. Hopefully this will land in the hands of someone you love, for my love is gone now. Merry Christmas."
A 37-year-old guy found the present in the front seat. He filed a police report, but no one has found the heartbroken secret Santa.
Legal Beagle
A convicted drug dealer in Athens, Ohio, is suing some members of the sheriff's department. One of them is a key investigator — a police dog named Andi.
The canine cop helped sniff out 50 pounds of marijuana in what the dealer says was an illegal search. The sheriff says everyone's laughing about it, but just to be safe Andi gave his paw print to show he got the subpoena.
Stand-In Husband
The Walkers have a unique relationship. Some women would call it the ideal marriage. Her husband never leaves up the toilet seat, never complains about food. In fact, he never says anything. She does all the talking — because he's a mannequin.
You see, Suzy Walker's real husband is a Navy officer serving in Iraq. But she found a dummy on eBay that struck an amazing resemblance to her real man. All she had to do was slap on a mustache.
She says so far he's been to the movies, the gas station and Victoria's Secret.
