New York City Man Killed by School Bus Full of Children
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}A New York City man was killed by a mini school bus after stepping out into the street from between two parked cars.
Police identified the victim as 25-year-old Matthew Smolovich of Brooklyn.
They say he was attempting to cross the street in Brooklyn just before 10 a.m. Tuesday. He was about 100 feet from the crosswalk when he was struck.

The victim was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead. There were no other injuries.
The driver remained on the scene. No charges have been filed.
