Mike Huckabee Predicts Win in Iowa

Huckabee say he expects to continue to build momentum that has been reflected in recent polls. In an interview today on MSNBC, Huckabee was asked if he would win Iowa. He responded -- "I think we will."
Huckabee repeated his message that he has been a consistent conservative and does not have to spend his time explaining how he has changed positions on key issues. He says he will benefit from what he calls a "rising wave" among social conservatives who want to rally behind one candidate.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}A poll released Sunday by The Des Moines Register shows Mitt Romney with 29 percent support among Iowa Republicans, Fred Thompson with 18 percent and Huckabee with 12 percent.
The former Arkansas governor says his level of support is notable considering the shoestring budget of his campaign.
The Iowa Caucus is January 14th.
