Mena Suvari Engaged to Music Producer
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Actress Mena Suvari is engaged to music producer/concert promoter Simone Sestito, People magazine reports.
The "American Beauty" star, 29, met Sestito last year at the Toronto International Film Festival while Suvari was promoting her film "Stuck." He proposed during the couple's recent vacation to Jamaica.
A source close to the actress says that the two are "taking their time planning the wedding. They are in no rush."
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Suvari was married to cinematographer Robert Brinkmann, who is 18 years her senior, in 2000, but filed for divorce in 2005, citing irreconcilable differences.
Last year, the actress caused a stir when she shaved her head soon after Britney Spears' infamous buzz cut. Suvari told FOXNews.com's Pop Tarts column that she wasn't crazy, but instead the shave was "exciting to me, a psychological experiment. To me it’s just hair, it grows back."
The actress stars in the upcoming Lifetime movie "Murder in Sin City," which premieres in September, and the period piece "Garden of Eden," premiering later this year.
