Hey fashionistas!
The Golden Globes are one of the hottest red carpet events of the year, and lucky for us we only have to wait a few more days to critique the best and worst dressed of Hollywood 's elite. And who better to walk us down the red carpet than everyone's favorite dancing star, Lisa Rinna who is co-hosting with Joey Fatone for the TV Guide Channel.
I spoke to Lisa about who she is dying to see, nervous to run into, and of course, who she would be wearing. As always, the former soap star and dancing queen was bubbly, excited, and absolutely down to earth. She was super psyched about her dress she was designing from scratch with glamour guru, David Meister. She described the whole process as very challenging— much harder than just picking a dress off the rack! However, she described the final product as stunning. As for details, all she would tell me is it is nude and a rose-gold color. It sounds gorgeous, and perfect for this fantastically fit wife and mom of two.
My next question was, how does she stay looking so slim? She credits her fabulous figure to Dancing with the Stars, saying her body looks as good as it did when she was 18. I immediately became jealous that as a non-star I'd never get the opportunity to rumba my way back to my teenage body, but I was mistaken! Lisa just released two DVDs called, Dance Body Beautiful based on the moves she learned from her show experience! The routines were choreographed by her former partner, Louis Van Amstel and the idea is to have fun, feel great, and then of course, drop the pounds. Sounds good to me! Oh and p.s., no hot partner required. Boo Hoo.
So back to the Golden Globes. Lisa is dying to see Brangelina (aren't we all?), and Tom Cruise. She loves interviewing Tina Fey and Steve Carell. And her knees get weak at the thought of Javier Bardem. As for preparation? She'll get a spray tan and eat well—no processed foods and little alcohol. And of course, I'm sure she'll dance her way right into that David Meister dress.
Make sure to watch the Golden Globes on Sunday, January 10th. And as always, Happy Shopping!
