Tucson police say workers at University Medical Center snapped photos of a patient’s “ambiguous genitalia," the Arizona Daily Star reported.
The patient was unconscious and later died as a result of his condition, according to police reports released Thursday.
Police said the nude patient was turned over by three patient care technicians and a nurse, while another employee was seen pointing his cell phone at the patient.

The workers involved said the photos were not sent to anyone and were deleted prior to being contacted by police.
The photos were taken sometime between April 4 and April 22. The four employees present were fired, while four others were suspended. No charges have been filed.
