About 85 Boulder High School (search) students worried about where the nation is heading have ended their campout in the school library.

Most of the students began protesting yesterday over concerns about the war, the national debt, military recruitment in schools, and other issues.

Bush administration officials have repeatedly said they have no plans to reinstate a draft.

Principal Ron Cabrera said they could spend the night in the library if they left this morning in time for classes. The students did.

Cabrera says it has become a lesson about civics and having a political voice.

Representative Mark Udall (search) — a Democrat representing the district — met with the students for about an hour after the campout ended.
