Gov't: Mental Health Experts Should Stay Away From Moussaoui

Terrorism suspect Zacarias Moussaoui (search) should not be examined by defense mental health experts while his trial is on hold, prosecutors told a judge Monday.
Any psychological testing at this time would make it difficult for government experts to evaluate his mental health later, the written motion said.
The government has said Moussaoui's mental condition could play a significant role if the death penalty remains a possible outcome for the only U.S. defendant charged with crimes related to the Sept. 11 attacks (search).
