A 22-year-old Fulton County school bus driver faces a sexual assault charge involving allegations she had an inappropriate relationship with a student.

Allison Toller, a spokeswoman for the Fulton County school district, says Jacqueline Connally was arrested Wednesday evening at her home in Union City.

Toller says Connally, in her second year as a driver, was fired after the district was told she'd had a relationship with a male student.

Toller says the student attends Langston Hughes High School in Fairburn. She says another student told authorities about the relationship, which they say took place when she was 21 and he was 16.

Fulton County Jail spokeswoman Tracy Flanagan did not know if Connally had a lawyer but that the issue would be addressed at a court hearing Thursday.
