I have posted pictures from our trip to Boulder, Colorado. After spending time talking to people about the arrest, we did the show from outside the courthouse where John Mark Karr will be brought in the next few days. Most expect his arrival in the next 48 hours.

I ran into a few friends from our San Francisco and Los Angeles bureaus while I was at the courthouse, since Colorado is their region to cover, too. It is always fun to see my West Coast colleagues. (See the picture of FNC correspondent Claudia Cowan posted.)

We also went to the former home of the Ramsey family. We are told the house is for sale — there has been more than one owner since the Ramseys sold it. New pictures of that house are posted.

I was glad to go to Boulder because it gave me a chance to talk to people who have more intimate knowledge of the case than I do. Sometimes a short trip to a story can be enlightening.

By the way, I would love to see the murder of JonBenet Ramsey solved, but I doubt that Karr is the killer. I think he is a strange fellow who falsely confessed — there are just too many weird things about his confession. I sure hope I am wrong — as I noted, I would love to see this solved.

Now for some e-mails — I deliberately pulled out the first 10 I read so that I could get the best idea of the views about the arrest of John Mark Karr:

Greta,
Do you have to follow everyone else's lead and report on the JonBenet Ramsey story? To me, it didn't merit anymore updates or anylzation [sic] beyond reporting who did it. Anything further is fluff. It's not newsworthy because the facts just aren't in yet until the DNA matches the confession. Why FOX News decided to give that slug a 3-hour spotlight for his crime is beyond me. At the end of three hours, I'm sure the audience is none the wiser for watching. I myself tuned out of every show that spotlighted the JonBenet Ramsey story and will continue to do it until you and the rest of the FOX cast is tired of reporting on the fluff.

Hi Greta,
I don't believe John Karr's "confession." I get the sense from watching the video clip of his arrest that he really is a "wingnut." He's batting his eyes a lot which suggests to me that his so-called confession was designed to get himself a whole lot of attention. Perhaps in his world he might be seen as important if the world believes that he actually committed such a horrendous crime. I think he has been researching JonBenet's case as well as the case of Polly Klaas, not because he was writing a book, but because he derived some sort of sexual gratification by learning the details of the crimes. I think this man is extremely dangerous and he is a ticking time-bomb. My guess is that he has fantasized that he killed both of those little girls. He is a sick, sick, man and I surely hope that the U.S. authorities can find a way to lock him up for good.

After watching all this unfold, last night through this evening, regarding the fact that Karr is naming things that make him appear not guilty, not one person among the analysts has brought up the following; (I haven't seen your show, yet, will see at midnight).
Could it be that Karr deliberately is making up things that he knows not to be true, in hopes of: 1) Getting a free trip back to the U.S., and especially; 2) Getting off? Such as; "I drugged her," and, "I raped her," and "it was an accident." We are sure he's a nut, but wondering if he'd do or say anything at this point to throw them off, and to get out of going into a Thai jail.
Also, the wife could be lying, so as not to traumatize their three sons.

Greta... this guy looks like he is looking for an excuse to get out of a Bangkok jail. I think he'd rather confess to a high-profile murder that will get him extradited to the U.S., than to rot in a Bangkok jail as a typical pedophile.

It's hard to say what's up with this suspect in the JonBenet case but, I'll tell you one thing, he's definitely in a dark, dark place. In my opinion, he's very creepy and weird. And, he's very effeminate too — not that being effeminate makes him bad. I'm just saying that the dude has issues which psychologically, might be "toying with his mindset," he looks like a time bomb, to me.

Oh, how I hope this guy is the killer so justice can be done. Unfortunately though, I feel he is just out for his 15 minutes of fame after being arrested in Thailand. I think his confession is just the hoax of a disturbed mind.

After watching the interviews from Thailand, I believe that the confessing man is not the killer. He may have been present or personally knows the killer, but he is not the person. I believe that he is confessing so that he will get the best medical care possible for AIDS. Or medical treatment for a serious ailment that he has. Please check out any medical background of his. I believe from his behavior that he is homosexual, that is why I would say that he has AIDS.
