A British teenager's eyeball was split in half after two men battered him with a baseball bat and a metal dog leash, The Sun reported Tuesday.
Edward Watt was blinded in his left eye following the attack in Edinburgh, Scotland, as he walked home from a bar with friends.
He was lashed in the face with the chain by the owner of a Staffordshire bull terrier after trying to defend himself against the dog. Another man laid into him with the bat.

Watt, 19, whose eyeball was stitched up after he was rushed unconscious to hospital, said: "I was in a lot of pain when I woke up and didn't know what was going on.
"The eye specialist said it was the worst he's seen," Watt said.
"It's still weeping fluid, and there's a stitch in my eyeball. I've also got a staple in my head."

Doctors were deciding whether to remove the damaged eye.
He also suffered leg injuries in the attack, which happened at 11:30 p.m. Friday.
The dog owner, in his 30s, lashed out after his barking dog ran towards Watt, who tried to kick it away.
