Car Blast Kills One in Gaza
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}A car exploded in northern Gaza after nightfall Monday, killing at least one Palestinian, according to Palestinian security and witnesses.
The two other occupants of the car were seriously injured, security officials said. Witnesses said an Israeli aircraft was overhead, indicating a missile strike. The Israeli military had no comment.
The blast occurred near a border area Israel has declared off limits to Palestinians to try to prevent rocket fire at Israel.
