SILVER SPRING, Md. – Several children and adults at a Montgomery County school were treated after authorities say they were attacked by a swarm of bees (search).
It happened shortly before noon at Montgomery Knolls Elementary School in Silver Spring (search).
According to Montgomery County Fire spokesman Pete Piringer, the children ranged in age from 3-to-5-years-old.
As many as 15 people were treated at the scene for multiple bee stings.
